- Notability: Named the 2014 Mac App of the Year by Apple, this note-taking program is great for capturing thoughts no matter how you have them, whether its handwritten, typed, audio, photos.
- Custom: a fan is controlled by the app. Can be either some constant RPM value (e.g. 1500 RPM) or sensor-based control (e.g. In relation to CPU PECI sensor). For convenience the app features fan presets that let you quickly put your fan(s) to either Auto or some Custom mode depending on your activity.
- Caffeine is to your Mac what Starbucks is to your mind, but, unlike Starbucks, it doesn't cost $5 to reap the benefits. The free app creates an icon on the right side of your menu bar.
